JOB SUMMARY:

HGM Management and Technologies, Inc. (HGM) is looking for a full-time Human Capital Consultant/Senior Consultant - Organization and Change/Human Resource Transformation in Washington DC. HGM’s mission is to improve Individual and Organizational Performance to Achieve Excellence, through its primary business focus, which is to partner with its clients to achieve breakthrough performance through intelligent integration of human capital resources with organizational systems. This position offers a unique opportunity to assist in the planning and organization of our client’s fiscal budget and scheduling efforts. The successful candidate will help our client to address strategic change, workforce and talent strategies, learning and development, technology and regulatory adoption, and organizational strategies.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Having the ability to think critically, problem solve, manage multiple tasks, analyze, and leverage industry best practices to present creative solutions.
  2. Individual must have the ability to facilitate work teams, to support leadership and team development, such as -
     
    1. plan, develop, and implement strategy for organizational development (covering particular areas relevant to the organization's structure, market etc);
    2. establish and maintain appropriate systems for measuring necessary aspects of organizational performance;
    3. monitor, measure and report on organizational development plans and achievements within agreed formats and timescales;
    4. manage and develop direct reporting staff;
    5. manage and control departmental expenditure within agreed budgets,
    6. liaise with other functional/departmental managers so as to understand all necessary aspects of organizational development, and to ensure they are fully informed of organizational development objectives, purposes and achievements, and
    7. Design, develop, and deliver training programs in support of clients.
  3. Supporting business development and marketing activities – making contact with clients and other external entities with the aim of gaining new business.
  4. Proposal writing – research and respond to Requests for Proposals, Requests for Quotes, etc. Individual must be proficient in English, both written and verbal.
  5. Individual must be able to identify, take responsibility for, and support an internal improvement project. Such projects will be discussed upon commencement of employment.

QUALIFICATIONS SUMMARY:

Dynamic, energetic, individual that specializes in business consulting, and is interested in integrating people issues with business strategy. Willingness to work hard, effectively, and efficiently, in a Small Business environment.

Masters degree preferred - Bachelor’s degree minimum - required. Trained and has at least five (5) years experience in Human Capital/Organizational Development implementation, training, and/or coaching. Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, Best Practices, and technical writing a plus.
